Harding University Athletics.

Harding Bison and Lady Bison athletic teams compete in NCAA Division II intercollegiate games. Harding University men’s teams include basketball, baseball, football, track and field, golf, soccer, and tennis. The Lady Bison compete in volleyball, soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, and track and field. Intramural sports also play an important role in student life at Harding U. Supporting all the Harding University athletes is the Thundering Herd Marching Band whose high-octane energy pumps up any crowd. The Christian faith is central to the academic institution of Harding University. A variety of programs anchored in spiritual development are offered for students and faculty. Chapel is offered for daily worship, and devotionals led by students are a common event throughout the campus. Harding University also offers academic programs through the College of Bible and Religion, as well as organized goodwill missions during academic breaks.
